NEW HOPE RETREAT CENTER:
Details: Heated/Air conditioned, wireless internet, handicapped accessible, secluded on prairie, 8 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms with showers, kitchenette (stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, double sink, serving and eating dishes), large meeting area, single bunkbeds, and gas fireplace. Very peaceful. Ideal for your large group! Comfortably seats 36 for scrapbooking, quilting, etc. Guests are responsible for bringing linens (sheets, towels, etc.)
GRANTHAM CABIN
Details: Heated/Air-conditioned, wireless internet, 2 bathrooms with showers, kitchenette (stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, double sink, serving and eating dishes), central meeting area, single bunk beds. (each cabin has an identical layout), Guests are responsible for bringing linens (sheets, towels, etc.)
Available: April through October-Call about availability during the Summer Camp season.
Sleeps: 16 persons; Two separate bedrooms each (single bunkbeds)
WITTSTRUCK CABIN
Details: Heated/Air-conditioned, wireless internet, 2 bathrooms with showers, kitchenette (stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, double sink, serving and eating dishes), central meeting area, single bunk beds. Guests are responsible for bringing linens (sheets, towels, etc.)
Available: Mid-August through October and April through mid-May. Guest Lodge is in use during the summer months.

BASKERVILLE DINING HALL
**DOES NOT include use of kitchen**
Details: Heated/Air-conditioned, wireless internet, carpeted, wood burning fireplace, tables and chairs, restrooms, large outdoor deck. The main dining hall kitchen has a state restaurant food license and is not available for rental. We require groups of 25 or more use our food service.

EPWORTH HALL
Details: Brick building, cement floor. Newly renovated stage for worship and entertaining.

ALDERSGATE ROOM
Details:Part of the Baskerville addition, the Aldersgate room is perfect for meetings and get togethers. This room includes access to the Aldersgate Conference room, in addition to cable television, blu-ray and wi-fi capabilities.

GOLDEN VALLEY ROOM
Details: Part of the Baskerville addition, the Golden Valley room is a large, open space for groups of all ages to enjoy. This room includes wonderful amenities such as a television (55 inch tv), blu-ray, wi-fi and access to the Okoboji table games (foosball, ping-pong, “Giant Games”, and carpetball).

CAMPFIRE PIT
Details: Whether your group is large or smaller, the Okoboji U.M. Campfire Pit is a premier meeting space. Amenities include access to power, roasting sticks for marshmallows or hot dogs.

PERGOLA
Details: Constructed in 2014 thanks to a generous gift from the Spirit Lake United Methodist Church, the Pergola is ideal for a small group gathering or as the centerpiece of a larger event. Located on top of the old Tabernacle hill, this area provides an excellent view of the North Campus and surrounding areas.

HEBER SWINGS
Details: Constructed in 2014 thanks to friends and family of Heber Miller, this campfire ring is ideal for smaller groups and folks who are looking to relax. You’ll love the swinging benches and surrounding trees!

HIDDEN CHAPEL
Details: Tucked away and hidden from the hustle and bustle of camp is where you’ll find this beautiful chapel area. Built by Rev. John Battern and family, this is a truly unique space to find yourself lost in nature.

All meals are served in Lake Okoboji U.M. Camp & Retreat Center’s dining hall.

Swim in the beautiful blue water of Iowa’s popular West lake Okoboji. Waterfront area includes: sand beach area, multiple docks with ladders, swim platform, non-swimmers area, benches, picnic tables and a children’s park. Life jackets available on request. |
CAMPFIRES |
Our campfire/ outdoor amphitheater includes: seating w/back-rests for 200, large/multi-tiered stage with power and lighting, and hand-crafted fire-ring. Or, for that rustic campfire feel, Okoboji also has a smaller available. |

Test your targeting skills at Okoboji’s shaded archery area. Archery activities are staff supervis
ed using student level tackle. (Min. group size of 6, 1 hour givesgroups plenty of time to reach the bullseye).

Get your thrill on at Okoboji’s very popular go-kart track. Participants “tear up” the maintained/mile-long off-road track which includes a safe loading/unloading area, directional/warning signs and spectator viewing area. Track is located safely away from vehicles, roads and buildings. |
*MOUNTAIN BOARDING |
A cross between skateboarding and snowboarding. Cruise down your choice of two groomed hills on Okoboji’s South campus – some of the highest natural hills in Iowa! All participants wear safety gear and receive a safety orientation prior to usage. |
*CANOEING |
Experience, first hand, the beauty of Iowa’s West Lake Okoboji! Canoe around Okoboji’s swim area, across the bay to Triboji beach, or down to Arnold’s Amusement Park for a nutty bar. All participants are required to wear a life jacket. |
CHALLENGE ACTIVITIES / GAMES |
Groups of 10-15 people are led by an experienced Okoboji staff facilitator in fun/meaningful team building games, activities and group processing. Available year-round.

Groups and individuals grow in strength, confidence and leadership as they experience the 40′ climbing tower and traverse wall located on the South Campus. |
*ZIP LINE |
Experience 300 feet of speed as you zip along the rustic prairie at high speeds. This event will challenge your climbing ability and courage as you walk off a 40′ ledge and into the safety of your harness.

Deposit for reservations of facilities/food service is 25% of estimated lodging fee and is due 2 weeks after you receive your “reservation agreement”. This is a security deposit and 100% of your deposit will apply to the Total Rental Price. Reservations are not valid until payment is received. Deposits are refundable up to 30 days prior to retreat.
